Texas Joe made history last night Febuary 10th 2012 Friday ..1st time ever to do an acoustic gig..with all new Valles Flying Machine songs...it seems to have flown by in a rush ! but it was very intresting..the crowd was either very silent or very noisy...the video...of the event demonstrates this..(.we video recorded with a Zoom Q3 blue model camera) ...it was fun..what was nerve wracking was the fact that playing acoustic...for so many songs...made Texas Joe's fingers raw...but didnt feel the effects of it until we started doing our Electric Six String songs on 3rd and 4rth sets of music...the 12 stringset didnt seem to bother me..also it didnt help that Texas Joe pricked his finger on a loose ...guitar case thumbtack..that was stiking out and pricked his ring finger...but the pain messed with our lead guitar solos all night..!
We almost got away with doing...all our own songs...we did 2 covers.. Funk 49 by The James Gang and Killing Floor by Jimi Hendrix....but other than that it was all our own music ...which we are very proud of !
Its gonna be a while until we play again in South Texas..(unless its a very high paying gig..) as we are getting ready for this Coast to Coast tour....but several things are in the works...and Texas Joe and Eloy..are looking at all options...we hope things ..go well....but anyway heres pictures of our last Copz Lounge gig for a while...we did a run of 4 shows..and are grateful to Aroon for the gigs....

texas joe 1st ever acoustic 12 string solo gig...Eloy said it was pretty good ..to me it felt like it went by in a rush ! ha ha !
