Hello and welcome back to our blog...nice to see you ! as we mentioned yesterday Saturday the 9th of April was our recent foto shoot for our fairy poster series...we keep coming up with good ideas after...all these sessions.Eloy mentioned the possibility of a poster/calender idea or calender with 12 foto sets..(great idea!) in any case we have some wonderful pix for our new series of posters for 2011/2012 touring season..with some Photoshop ideas and some bright color along with band info we should have a superb set of posters for our new tour schedule....
The model we used for this session...is a vibrant and fun loving young lady, she prefers to be called for now "Glitter Star" due to the posters not being ready..yet...she is amazing beautiful from The Rio Grande Valley and is simply amazing to work with.She fit the bill excellently ! Texas Joe over the years has encountered many young women who say they want to pose and model for the fairy idea in Valles Flying Machine posters but often times not things do not come to pass ..and it just dont happen......
With the case of Glitter Star we had bumped into her after a gig here in the Rio Grande Valley last August 2010..! at like 3 in the morning in a local burger joint!
Texas Joe saw her walk in and just thought to himself.."better say hi to her or forever regret ever seeing her walk in..!
Needless to say Glitter Star looked like a total Bombshell! she had just gotten out of a local "dress to impress"dance club and even at 3 in the morning she looked very"Hollywood" to the band ...Texas Joe said "hi" and introduced himself to "Star" then introduced Star to the band..and all agreed she was very much "poster fairy model material" for sure. We kept in touch ...for all these months and finnally the oportunity arrived and yesterday April 9th 2011 our foto session with Glitter Star went very well and flowed very smoothly...alot of details had to be looked after..lighting is the most important..in our opinion...but we seemed to have pulled through...there was even a quick trip to Victorias Secrets at a local mall for some last minute costume changes !!!
it all went extremely well and we are pleased with the results..Glitter Star...more than anyone was delighted and how artistic and radiant she looked in the foto shoot...We will post one blurry foto...for proof purposes...and just to tease our fans with our new "Fairy poster model" so we can keep you all coming back for more! ha ha ! The blurry foto was intentional for the blog today..but the funny thing is it is the only foto that came out blurry in the whole session..so it is fitting to post it to ignite curiosity in Valles Flying Machine fans about what is about to take place. Once the Witch Tree album mixes have arrived and the pressing of the cd's is done,the start of our 1st American tour begins !

This series of fotos was called "Fuzzface in Action" a pedal used widely by many guitarists to make extreme fuzz sounds on records..Texas Joe uses this exact model.!
Because of this session Texas Joe came up with a new song an acoustic number with the ruff working title of The Moon Star acoustic songs had not been worked up in the band for quite some time...and now here we have one...brewing....
